Read Across the Universe! It's Book Week!

We have had a wonderful week of celebrations for Book Week. We had a dress up day on Wednesday and everyone dressed up in the space theme. The Preps and their buddies shared books and had a fabulous time. We love reading books in Prep!

We had fun on our dressing up day and we had a really fun time at the parade. Alexa

We made suitcases and we had to draw things that we would take to space. We showed our suitcases to our buddies. Chantelle

We read 'Too Many Elephants in This House' and made elephants out of paper bags. Joshua

We  brought our favourite books to school and we shared our books. Declan

Better Buddies!

Today we had time with our buddies. They gave us a special Buddy Bear to remind us that there is always someone who is looking out for us and cares for us - and of course our bears give lots of hugs!
We will keep our Buddy Bears at school for a while and then we will take them home.

Thank you to the Grade Six buddies who do such a great job watching over their Prep buddies!
