We are learning to use a digital camera to take pictures of our rabbits when they arrive next week. This is what we have learnt about using a camera:
- be careful with the camera
- hold the camera still
- look at the screen to check your shot
- push the button carefully
We practised taking photos in our classroom. Here is a slideshow of our photos.
The Preps are VERY creative!
Can you give us some hints on how to take good photographs?
This is a wonderful collection of photos. Photography has been a hobby of mine for many years. It's a wonderful feeling when you capture that perfect moment in time then share it with others. Thank you all for sharing your moments in time. The photos are beautiful. :)

Photos are a great way to remember things in the future and capture special moments.I bet your buddies would have lots of great clues to share with you!!
ReplyDeleteCheers Mrs Bellesini :)
What lovely photos Preps! We have also been learning how to take good photos. Here's a good hint: we have all of our cameras attached to lanyards so that the children can wear them around their neck and if they accidentally let go of the camera, it won't drop onto the ground. Good luck.

These are great photos Prep K. They show everyone what you have learned about photography.
ReplyDeleteI will show these to Middle S and share their suggestions with you.

Dear Prep K,
ReplyDeleteYou are all very clever!
We also used the digital camera to take photos around our school. Some of us found that the trickiest part about taking a photo was keeping the camera steady as we pressed down on the button to take the photo. Did you find this tricky too?
Miss KC told us that it would get easier if we kept practising and she was right!
