Balloon Rockets!

On Wednesday we followed a procedure to make a balloon rocket. We had our buddies to help us and we had lots of fun. 
We learnt that the air from the balloon moved the balloon along the string. We had to be careful to keep the string tight so the balloon could travel along smoothly. Great science!

Hairy Harry's

We have learnt so much from growing our Hairy Harry's. Here are the last photos of our experiment - we took the Hairy Harry's out of the cupboard and added water and sunlight to see what would happen.

The Harry in the cupboard with water is now turning green. The Harry with no water or light is now growing and the Harry with no soil is still growing lots of hairy hair!

The Preps were very excited about taking their Hairy Harry's home to continue observing what happens.

Science is AMAZING!
