Our Excursion to CERES

On Wednesday we went to CERES (the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Studies). CERES is an award winning, not-for profit, sustainability centre in Brunswick, Melbourne.

We learnt so much about caring for the environment by recycling and reusing to reduce landfill.

  1. I had lots of fun on the excursion. I loved feeding the chickens. I learned how to make paper.

  2. Hi Prep K,

Thanks for letting me come on your excursion last week. I had lots of fun and loved spending the day with you helping you learn about recycling. Have you used your paper yet?
I hope you are collecting lots of plastics to make your recycled piece of furniture.

  3. Hi Hamish and Marika!

Thank you for your comments. We loved going to CERES and we learnt alot.

We have decided what we are going to make with our paper but we cannot tell because it is a secret surprise! Mrs Kennedy hopes that all the Preps can keep a secret!

    Have a great day
