We took some old jars and created new and useful things to use at home.
We are also remembering to speak clearly and smoothly. Have a listen to see if you think we have done a good job!
What do you reuse to reduce rubbish?

Hi Prep K
ReplyDeleteI re-use plastic bags wherever I can, but especially when I take my new puppy for a walk...I try to buy things that I can recycle, rather than throwing them in the bin.
It was great to see all the ways you decorated your recycled jars. Last year, we painted the jars we bought in from home and made them into candle holders. They look very nice and mum still uses them. (Lachlan - Junior D and Riley -Junior M).
ReplyDeleteHello Ms Scott

Hello Lachlan, Riley and Kim
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting our blog!
Some of us painted our jars too. It is good that you are still using your jars. (Will P)
I made a paint brush jar. It is at my house being reused. (Georgia)

Wow! So many great ways to re-use jars!! I try to always buy bread from the bakery which uses recyclable bags and frozen vegetables from the company that uses recyclable plastic as well. We have used the back of Daddy's old business cards to make flash-cards with Molly & Will's M100words on them! We have lots of "green" bags to take to the supermarket and we try not to get plastic carry bags. great work Prep K, SO many great things to think about!
