That is such a cool mat preps. It is so great that you are learning about reusing, reducing and recycling. You are spreading wonderful messages throughout the school. Have you decided how you are going to use the mat? Maybe it could be your stars of the week mat! Great work preps. From mrs Gridley
Dear Preps AWESOME JOB! You are so clever! I bet it's really comfortable to sit on!! Nice and soft. Where are you going to keep it? Keep up the good work! From Room 3 and Mrs Laburn
Hi Sanjana, Thank you for your comment. We found learning to plait plastic bags very hard - but we kept on trying. Our teacher Mrs Kennedy had to iron the bags so that they melted and stuck together. We thought this was a great way to reuse plastic bags. The mat is in our classroom and will remind us to look after our environment by reusing and recycling. Thanks for visiting!
Hello Ms Cox, Thank you for your comment. Mrs Kennedy also remembers the rag rug her Nanna used to have. We think this is a great way to reduce the amount of plastic bags that are in landfill. Thanks for visiting, From Prep K
Hi Mallika, Thanks for visiting and commenting. I had a look on your wiki but I couldn't find your Vokis. Can you help me find them? The Preps are going to make some vokis next term. We can look at yours first to get some ideas. Have fun! From Mrs Kennedy

Wow, what a fabulous mat. You can't find one as nice in Ikea. It reminds me of the rag rug my grandma used to have.
ReplyDeleteDear Preps,
